Richard Duployen

Richard Duployen is an experienced actor/singer who trained initially at the Guildford Conservatoire. He still does courses.

He has performed in opera e.g. extra chorus "Rigoletto" Royal Albert Hall 2003 - Ellen Kent Ltd. , operetta, concerts etc.. His roles in drama include George Tubbs M.P. in new plays e.g. The White Bear, Kennington, South London - John Buchanan, the Priest in "Hell for Leather" (short film) 1998 Dominik Scherrer (at least six international awards) and Potboy/Soldier etc. "Henry IV" Part 1 Redgrave Theatre, Farnham, Surrey 1975.

He was glad David Graham gave him the chance to play the comedian as Dillon in "Hooked on a Ceiling", having played the light comedian in Gilbert and Sullivan, and enjoyed working with a splendid team.

David says: I've worked with Richard before on short films (see the 3 minute 'Petal'). He was a dead-cert for the part of Dylan. Nobody else was ever considered for the role. Richard's understated humour and his ability to bring his particular type of charisma to the character of computing assistant Dylan worked wonders - both on and off camera.
