Martin Parsons

Martin enjoyed filming Hooked on a Ceiling hugely, in particular working with the cast, director and shooting in such beautiful locations around Oxford.

He trained at Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, and has since worked worked extensively as an actor and presenter.

Accompanying this theatre work, screen roles have included appearances in Channel 5's Wing And A Prayer, while voice work includes voicing a Doctor Who villain opposite Peter Davison for BBC Worldwide, playing Max Millerís sidekick alongside Roy Hudd and becoming the voice of Percy the steam train in the hugely successful productions of Thomas the Tank Engine Live - the first time in over fifty years that the children's favourite has spoken!

Most recently, Martin's career has swung towards presenting and he has travelled the UK and France presenting eight series of travel programmes - over two hundred episodes! These saw him abseiling in the Midlands, sailing around Alderney and touring Paris in a limousine, to name but three - plus writing, directing and co-producing many episodes. He can currently be seen as a regular host presenter on YES TV Live (Sky Channel 654). For more, see www.martinparsons.tv

David says: There wasnít anyone known to me who could play Harry, so it was clear I had to audition. So, having put a call out for actors in a London actorsí mag, PCR, I shortlisted six to audition on a hot Saturday May morning at The Actorsí Centre in London. Things didnít start well, I have to say. The first actor didnít turn up and the second was late. But after a (sort of) humble apology, the second actor, Mr Parsons, dived into the two scenes I had lined up for the audition. My instinct (and Miss Beccy B.ís) suggested I had found my Harry.
